New baggies designed by yours truly...

They are finally here...
I designed these shorts as a part of the Quicksilver Collaborative. 6 surf shops were chosen to design their own shorts. Heritage Surf Shop was one of these, and I was asked to design a one of a kind "Fin Revolution" painting to use as the print on them. Quicksilver made up a pair of their bitchin Diamond Doby board shorts with the image. I'm super stoked on the way they turned out.

William Ris Gallery in Stone Harbor...

The great people @ the William Ris Gallery liked my work so much they have asked me to keep my sculptures and paintings up for a while longer. They even gave me my own corner of the gallery. Stop by if you are in the South Jersey area and check out the offerings they have. What an awesome gallery.

Recycled crab pot buoy painting

Dia Lata was a Celtic water goddess. Here is the first example of my latest work on an old crab pot buoy I found in the bay while scavenging for driftwood for my sculptures.

Painting on surfboards

I did some paintings on surfboards this summer for clients, and since I just found my camera which has been lost since July, I figured I would post one for everyone.

Noel's skate deck for Jessie and Kyna

Noel called the surf shop the other day and wanted a skate deck panted for a wedding present for her friends. It's pretty self explanatory, here's a shot of it.

Wall hanging surfboard painting

A client came into the surf shop a few weeks back looking for a board to hang on her daughters wall. Not being one to turn down money, I did a painting on a cheep used board for them. Caleen wanted hibiscus flowers w/ a aqua and purple background, so this is how it came out.

"Rincon, PR" Painting

Here is a painting I finished up from early last month. I painted it on a piece of Mahogany that I found on site in Rincon, PR. I was helping my friend Stefan by installing his hardwood floors & with some of the woodworking down there in early Dec. You can go to his Blog and see everything we did and more @... http://www.ca2pr.com/. This was a scrap that I salvaged. The mediums are pencil, pen, & acrylic, the only things I had @ the time. The painting is approx. 16"H x 8"W.
$350
