the Steve and Cookie's Art Show

Thanks to everyone that attended the show @ Steve & Cookies by the bay in Margate the other evening.
The show went well for what I could tell and we rased a bunch of money for Atlantic County Social Services.
I personally sold 2 pieces and had alot of good feed back and comments. Special thanks to Cookie and John Baker for the venue and all the hard work. I can't wait till next year.

Rice paper lam on board

I did this custom rice paper lam for my friends Heather and Johns' wedding present. It's a hand drawn in ink on oriental rice paper then glassed onto a board w/ polyester resin and fiberglass. Framed out in American Cherry to finish. I'm working on a few more of these for an upcoming show this month.

Outrigger Canoe Sculpture for Surfrider Foundation

South Jersey Surfrider Foundation asked me to build a sculpture/trophy for Margo who paddled an outrigger canoe from Maine to Florida and will be attending International Surfing Day here in S. Jersey. The canoe is made from mahogany w/ maple connections, the paddle from ash and mahogany, and the base is figured red birch.
